Gold colors like light,

signal another day past.

The sun go to the west,

and stars wait beyond

another way.

as the town settles

into itself.

Fading light take a mystery,

the colors of my life to hide,

and the sounds nOt strOng to a whisper.

Shadows promise night will come,

but for now I walk in a golden land. "
